Seventeen Banner Health facilities have achieved Stage 7, the final stage in the adoption of electronic medical record (EMR) as acknowledged by HIMSS Analytics, a wholly owned nonprofit subsidiary of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.

ICF International, a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has been awarded a new $11.7 million contract by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The contract has a term of three years. The contract is awarded under a CDC National Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities ID/IQ task order.
Aperio Technologies, Inc., (Aperio), a global leader in digital pathology for the healthcare and life sciences industry, announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued the company patent No. 7,738,688 entitled, "System and Method for Viewing Virtual Slides."
