Bristol-Myers Squibb Company announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the company's biologics manufacturing facility in Devens, Massachusetts for commercial production of ORENCIA.
Researchers at the Kennedy Institute and Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences, University of Oxford, working with clinicians at NHS Lothian, have found that injection of the anti-TNF drug adalimumab into Dupuytren's disease nodules results in the reduction of the cell characteristics responsible for progression of Dupuytren's disease.
A large study has found that commencing treatment for sleep apnea as soon as possible after a stroke or a mini-stroke significantly improves speech impairment and other neurological symptoms as well as walking and other physical functioning.
EntreMed, Inc., a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company, announced today the initiation of a dual-institutional Phase 2 study of ENMD-2076 in triple-negative breast cancer. Jennifer R. Diamond, MD at the University of Colorado serves as the principal investigator for the study.
