ART Advanced Research Technologies Inc. The research groups Mintota and Photochemistry Reactivity Group of the faculties of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the University of Valencia have developed a method for the detection and evolution of kidney cancer through urine and the dispersion of gold nanoparticles, in what is the first system that will provide reliable information on the existence and progress of this pathology.
An anticancer drug that is commonly used to treat lung and colon malignancies is having a benefit and potentially prolonging survival in patients with invasive bladder cancer, researchers reported at the 2009 Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons.
