Haemonetics GmbH today announced settlement of its pending legal action against STRADIS-MED GmbH and its General Manager, Jochen Kirchner, for the infringement of two German utility models of Haemonetics (DE 200 10 825 U1 and DE 203 10 937 U1) related to Haemonetics' plasma technology.
That's the take-home message behind a new study in the Oct. 15 issue of Clinical Infectious Diseases, now available online. The study found that reducing antibiotic use for pediatric respiratory tract infections resulted in lower rates of carriage of drug-resistant bacteria.
In a large-scale study of electronic health records, Vanderbilt University Medical Center investigators have determined the prevalence of functional seizures and characterized comorbidities associated with them.
Older women with hormone receptor negative early breast cancer who may currently be missing out on effective post-operative anticancer drugs will be able to participate in a new clinical trial specifically aimed at this group of women.
