Researchers from GE Global Research have been awarded a $538,000 human microbiome project from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to develop new technology that would allow for the study of individual cells growing inside and outside the body believed to have a significant impact on human health.
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Allogene Therapeutics, Inc. today announced a strategic five-year collaboration agreement for the preclinical and clinical investigation of AlloCAR T candidates across Allogene's broad portfolio of hematologic and solid tumors.
A team of researchers led by Maryse Bouchard, adjunct professor at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Biology, Health, Environment and Society (CINBIOSE) of the Universit du Qu-bec Montr-al and a researcher at Sainte Justine University Hospital, and Donna Mergler, professor emerita in the Department of Biological Sciences and a member of CINBIOSE, recently completed a study showing that children exposed to high concentrations of manganese in drinking water performed worse on tests of intellectual functioning than children with lower exposures.
