NASA has signed a patent license agreement that will allow a California company use of NASA-developed technology that could be used to treat hardened arteries in the heart.
A new study has shown that a prescription of antibiotics taken within the previous two months doubles the chances of patients carrying antibiotic resistant bacteria. The same effect was not seen in patients who had had antibiotics prescribed within the previous 12 months.
Strong Precision Technologies announced today that its two medical divisions will now go to market under a single brand, MedTorque. The move reflects the increasing integration of the division formerly known as Inland Midwest with MedTorque, its sister division in Kenosha, WI.
