Biomoda, Inc. (OTCBB: BMOD), an Albuquerque-based cancer diagnostics company, announces that it has received notice of allowance for a U.S. Patent protecting the proprietary formula for the composition that binds to cancer cells which is utilized in Biomoda's screening assay for the early detection of cancer
It seems logical enough: if you stop smoking, there is every chance that certain tobacco-related complaints will improve or even disappear. Yet no long-term study has ever been undertaken to confirm or disprove this piece of folk wisdom. A cohort study to be published in April's European Respiratory Journal (ERJ) will now fill that gap.
Researchers from the University of California's Center for Medicinal Cannabis Research (CMCR) have found "reasonable evidence that cannabis is a promising treatment" for some specific, pain-related medical conditions. Their findings, presented today to the California legislature and public, are included in a report available on the CMCR web site at http://www.cmcr.ucsd.edu
