Sonus introduces PSA initiative to inform individuals of link between hearing loss and diabetes

In conjunction with Better Speech and Hearing Month, Sonus, a national strategic partner of the American Diabetes Association, has launched a PSA initiative to inform individuals of the link between hearing loss and diabetes. The connection stems from solid research including a study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, stating hearing loss is about twice as common in adults with diabetes compared to those who do not have the disease.

Clinical data of PCI-32765 in patients with CLL presented at ASH Annual Meeting

Pharmacyclics, Inc. today announced data from three Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia presentations at the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting describing the Btk-selective inhibitor PCI-32765. Two presentations report preclinical data, and one presentation reports clinical data from a pooled analysis of 54 patients with CLL or Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma treated with PCI-32765.
