The new cancer medication sorafenib looks promising. Sorafenib is used for advanced liver and kidney cancer and also appears to be effective against cancer stem cells in pancreatic cancer. Researchers from Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC have found that wound healing after lower extremity bypass or endovascular revascularization demonstrated a more complete and faster rate of healing for larger wounds of more than 2 cm after open bypass.
