Ovarian cancer risk reduced among women taking modern combined oral contraceptive pills

According to a new study women of reproductive age who are using the modern oral contraceptive pills or patches and rings that contain a combination of estrogen and progesterone are at a reduced risk for ovarian cancer. The study was published in the recent issue of the British Medical Journal (BMJ).

Palm reversal sign language errors common in children with ASD

Study findings suggest that children with autism spectrum disorder who have native exposure to sign languages show palm reversal errors that are most likely reflective of "self-other mapping" deficits related to their condition.
