RXi Pharmaceuticals Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company pursuing the development and commercialization of proprietary therapeutics based on RNA interference (RNAi), announced that Pamela Pavco, Ph.D., Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development, will be presenting at the 3rd International Scar Club Meeting in Montpellier, France on March 26, 2010.
Wyeth announced today that its 7-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine, Prevenar (Pneumococcal saccharide conjugated vaccine, Adsorbed), has been registered by the Russian Ministry of Health and Social Development (Roszdravnadzor) and is expected to be commercially available later this year.
For years, politicians and labor unions have pilloried Wal-Mart and other large employers for paying workers so little that many qualify for government health insurance at taxpayers' expense.
