Covidien, a leading global provider of healthcare products, today announced the worldwide launch of the SILS™ Stitch articulating suturing device for advanced laparoscopic surgery, including SILS single-incision procedures. The SILS Stitch instrument expands the Company's SILS product line, as well as its endoscopic suturing portfolio, which includes today's leading automated endosuturing product, the Endo Stitch™ instrument and reloads.
Many cancer researchers believe that cutting-edge advances in genomics will pave the way for personalized or "precision" cancer medicine for all patients in the near future. A new study by researchers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, however, suggest that not all doctors are ready to embrace tests that look for hundreds of DNA changes in patients' tumor samples, while others plan to offer this type of cancer gene testing to most of their patients.
Politico: Senior White House adviser David Axelrod said Sunday that he thinks voters will eventually warm to health care reform. He made his comments on NBC's "Meet the Press."
