New research conducted at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) suggests that it may be possible to develop a vaccine that protects against the myriad strains of the HIV virus.
TCA Cellular Therapy was recently awarded a Qualifying Therapeutic Discovery Program (QTDP) grant from U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The program was highly competitive with nearly seven thousand applicants vying for funding.
The "personal incapacitant" spray or PIS is used for self defence in situations where "lethal force is inappropriate." It combines the compounds CS (o-Chlorobenzylidene malononitrile) with MiBK (Methyl isobutyl keton).
An effective recovery has been observed in stroke patients and those with spinal cord injuries who have strong vitality and motivation to rehabilitate in clinical practice. However, it was not really clear how motivation facilitates functional recovery in brain science.
After helping thousands of patients get their lives back through minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery at facilities in Tampa, Scottsdale, and soon in Philadelphia, the Laser Spine Institute (LSI) announces the opening of their newest medical consultation facilities - in Beverly Hills, Ca., and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in October - which aim to meet the growing demand for LSI's spinal procedures and provide greater convenience for local patients.
