The number two cancer killer in the U.S. is often preventable and highly curable. "It's important for people to understand that, with proper screening, colon cancer can not only be detected early, but often can be prevented from developing," says Dr. Felice Schnoll-Sussman, a gastroenterologist and acting director of The Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Sage Products and 3M's Infection Prevention Division have entered into an agreement which includes sales representation of Sage Products by 3M in select international locations. The new agreement is the second collaboration announced by the two companies in recent months.
A trial testing a potential post-deployment screening programme for UK Armed Forces personnel, based on a computerised assessment and tailored mental health advice, found it was not effective in reducing symptoms of mental health disorders or encouraging personnel to seek help, compared to the general mental health advice which is the standard of care in the UK military.
