The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, member of the Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium, will host the MMRF Clinical Insights in Multiple Myeloma Patient Symposium on Saturday, April 2 in Short Hills, NJ from 9:00am-3:30pm.
Researchers from the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, one of the nation's top 50 best hospitals for cancer, presented results from 31 major studies of blood-related cancers - leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma - during the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting, December 10-13, 2011 in San Diego.
A pilot program that uses big data to predict which lung cancer patients will require a trip to an emergency department successfully anticipated a third of all ED visits over a two-week trial period, and was further able to identify which patients were at high risk and low risk of requiring such care.
The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and Astellas Pharma Global Development, Inc. today announced that they have entered into a joint collaboration for the clinical development of OSI-906 in patients with relapsed multiple myeloma.
More support needs to be put in place for hospital workers dealing with the Covid pandemic after a global review of studies found high levels of depression, PTSD, anxiety and burn-out amongst frontline staff.
