Leading researchers from Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and the University of Sheffield will be providing an insight into some of their work as part of International Clinical Trials Day.
The Houston Chronicle: "Illegal immigrants likely would become the largest patient pool of the Harris County Hospital District as a result of health care reform unless the taxpayer-funded institution can attract more insured patients than it currently serves, according to public health experts.
Recombinant Data Corp., a Massachusetts-based healthcare data warehousing and clinical intelligence solutions provider, today announced its continued contributions to innovative IT tools for clinical research, through the company's key role in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Million Veteran Program (MVP).
The 2019 Epilepsy League Research Recognition Award and prize money of CHF 25,000 is set to benefit young people: Dr. phil. Martina Hubacher is researching "The absent mind – Neurocognition and sleep in young people with absence seizures" at the University Children's Hospital Basel.
Tendon, the cord-like tissue that connects muscle to bone, contains a small subset of previously unknown adult stem cells, scientists at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) part of the National Institutes of Health, and their colleagues have discovered.
