Quest Diagnostics, the world's leading provider of diagnostic information services, and Barnabas Health, New Jersey's largest not-for-profit integrated health care delivery system, are teaming up to enhance quality and value of diagnostic services to patients and their doctors through an agreement for Quest to manage laboratory operations for Barnabas Health hospitals.
A recent study showed that low-income single mothers have a very high prevalence of depressive symptoms. This research, led by Ann Peden, ARNP, BC, DSN at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing was focused on 205 volunteer women with children between the ages of 2 and 6 who were at high risk for depression.
The reason behind why patients who are on aspirin still have heart attacks is an important topic in cardiovascular disease.
Weill Cornell Medical College has been selected by the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), to establish and lead a new Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC), creating an ambitious and innovative network for biomedical collaboration on New York's Upper East Side.
