(King) that King's New Drug Application (NDA) for ACUROX® (oxycodone HCl) Tablets was accepted for filing by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) with a Priority review classification and a Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) date of June 17, 2011.
Some 1.1 billion teenagers and young adults are at risk of hearing loss due to the unsafe use of personal audio devices, including smartphones, and exposure to damaging levels of sound at noisy entertainment venues such as nightclubs, bars and sporting events, according to WHO. Hearing loss has potentially devastating consequences for physical and mental health, education and employment.
The finding, by researchers supported by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), could provide important clues about the neurobiology of alcohol-drinking behaviors in humans.
