The media spotlight will shine again on Boston from June 2nd – June 4th, 2010 as the Consumer Genetics Conference, (www.consumergeneticsconference.com), hosts its yearly conference at the Hynes Convention Center.
In a study, presented today at the 2013 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, researchers obtained and compared the hospital purchasing records from 45 academic medical centers on the unit costs and volume of spinal products - pedicle screws, anterior cervical plates and posterior interbody cages - purchased from a total of seven vendors.
New research by Morgan Philbin, PhD, at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and colleagues looks at why Black young men who have sex with men (YMSM) are disproportionately subject to high rates of arrest and incarceration.
