mtm laboratories, a privately held diagnostics company developing, manufacturing and globally commercializing in vitro diagnostics for cervical cancer early detection and diagnosis, today announced the signing for an additional tranche of Euro 7 million to its Series C funding. Scripps Research receives $1.9 million NIH grant for prostate cancer study

Although scientists have known about cilia for decades, only recently have they discovered their role in disease. This new discovery, which may lead to new therapies for ciliopathies, will appear in the April 15 edition of Nature.
