Echo acoustic liquid handler improves discovery of potential therapeutics

New UTMB study finds no association between testosterone therapy and blood clots in veins

A new study from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston of more than 30,000 commercially insured men is the first large comparative analysis to show that there is no link between testosterone therapy and blood clots in veins. The study found that middle-aged and older men who receive testosterone therapy are not at increased risk of this illness.

Clinical trial results of Threshold's TH-302 hypoxia-activated prodrug presented at 16th CTOS annual meeting

Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced clinical trial results related to Threshold's clinical stage hypoxia-activated prodrug, TH-302. The results were presented at the 16th Annual Connective Tissue Oncology Society (CTOS) Meeting taking place in Paris, France from November 11 to 13, 2010.
