Increased health care costs concerns 99.4% of employers

Results of the 2010 UBA Employer Opinion Survey indicate that nearly all (99.4 percent) top decision makers are concerned with the impact of health care costs are having or are going to have on their overall corporate costs, according to newly released data.

Four Radboud researchers receive ERC grants to form research group

Two researchers from Radboud University and one from Radboudumc are to receive a Starting Grant of 1.5 million Euros from the European Research Council (ERC). This grant is awarded to talented young scientists, giving them the opportunity to form their own research group. Furthermore, astrophysicist Heino Falcke will receive an ERC Proof of Concept Grant.

After facing a favorable panel of judges during its first appeals-court defense of the federal health care law, the Obama administration will face two judges appointed by Republican presidents during the next major case on the law's constitutionality.

Poll: Majority want new effort if court overturns health law

A new Associated Press-GfK poll found that Americans want Congress and the president to work on new legislation to overhaul the health care system if the high court rules that the 2010 health law is unconstitutional. Meanwhile, the lead attorney for the states challenging the law said it's difficult to predict what the court will do.
