BioTime, Inc. (OTCBB: BTIM) announced today that it has completed an Exchange Offer to the holders of notes issued under its revolving line of credit agreement. BioTime issued 1,989,515 common shares and warrants to purchase 100,482 common shares in exchange for notes in the aggregate principal amount of $3,349,259.
Researchers are getting closer to learning how to turn white fat cells into brown fat cells, in a process called "beiging," to bring down blood sugar levels and fight diabetes.
