The North Shore-LIJ Health System has announced it is seeking participants for a new clinical trial that will test a new chemotherapy option for patients with liver tumors.

BioDelivery Sciences International, Inc. announced today that its abstract showing the results of a Phase 2 clinical study of BEMA Buprenorphine in the treatment of pain has been selected for oral presentation at Pain Week 2010, a national conference educating frontline clinicians who are faced with treating patients with pain. Findings illustrate need to monitor all races of heart failure patients for atrial fibrillation

Infant formula containing MFGM contributes to beneficial cognitive, respiratory health outcomes

Results from a clinical trial published today in the Journal of Pediatrics show infants who consume formula containing milk fat globule membrane (MFGM) - a complex layer that normally surrounds fat in milk - score higher in tests of cognitive, language and motor development by their first birthdays than infants consuming a milk-based formula that didn't contain MFGM.
