Edwards Lifesciences Corporation (NYSE: EW), the world leader in the science of heart valves, today announced completion of enrollment in its 1,040-patient randomized controlled Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) study of the Edwards SAPIEN transcatheter heart valve.

Researchers transplanted certain cells from the kidney donor's bone marrow along with the new organ.
