88% of uninsured children live in households with a working parent
A majority of the nine million uninsured children in the U.S. live in households where at least one parent works full-time, year-round, according to a report released by the advocacy group Families USA, the AP/Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports.
Aggressive Behaviour Risk Assessment Tool can reduce violence in clinical settings
Using a specially designed risk assessment tool within 24 hours of admission was an effective way of identifying which hospital patients in medical and surgical units would become violent. Researchers studied more than 2,000 patients admitted to an acute care hospital over a five-month period. As well as identify the traits that were most likely to lead to violence, they found that a disproportionate number of elderly patients and males became violent.

Reuters reports that as a new camp capable of hosting 10,000 to 12,000 refugees in Yemen will open in a few weeks, "[m]alnutrition and the risk of a cholera outbreak are threatening lives at Yemen's main camp [Masrak] for people fleeing fighting in the north." According to Thomas Davin, regional UNICEF chief, "Hygiene is terrible, really, really terrible."
