Oculus Innovative Sciences, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and markets a family of products based upon the Microcyn Technology platform, which is intended to treat infections in chronic and acute wounds, announced today it has entered into a new strategic partnership with V&M Industries, Inc. for non-exclusive rights to market Microcyn-based skin and wound care over-the-counter products in the United States and Canada while providing Oculus with a significant percentage of those revenues.
As Prime Minister Julia Gillard announced her ministry this weekend, surprises came forth. A review of previous studies indicates that an increase in prescription drug cost sharing is associated with a decrease in drug spending and use of pharmacies; and for some chronic conditions, higher cost sharing is associated with greater use of expensive medical services, according to an article in the July 4 issue of JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association.
