Einstein-Montefiore researchers to present latest finding on aging research at GSA 2014

Investigators at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and Montefiore Medical Center will present their latest aging research at the Gerontological Society of America's 67th Annual Scientific Meeting.

Stimatix GI's AOS-C1000 colostomy management device meets primary, secondary endpoints in pre-clinical studies

Stimatix GI reported that the AOS-C1000(TM), a unique colostomy management device, met primary and secondary endpoints in pre-clinical in-vivo animal studies. The study was conducted under the direction of Dr. Ron Greenberg, Senior Surgeon, Department of Surgery, Sourasky Medical Center, Tel Aviv Israel. Primary endpoints of repeatable stoma sealing for continence control as well as secondary endpoints regarding tissue pathology and survival were met confirming the AOS-C1000(TM) as capable of enabling repeatable colostomy site (stoma) sealing for continence control.

Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation: Physical medicine and rehabilitation, also referred to as rehabilitation medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with diagnosing, evaluating, and treating patients with physical disabilities.
