Allergy shots are cost-effective and deliver relief in weeks

This proven therapy saves money; accelerated schedules deliver relief in weeks, rather than months; and alternative methods are on the horizon, according to allergists at the annual scientific meeting of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology in Boston, Nov 3-8.

​The first mechanism disrupts the arrangement of amino acids required for the cohesion of the protease subunits. As a result the protease breaks into two parts. The second acts directly on the core of the active center.

Stereotaxis to offer 6,500,000 shares to the public at $4.00 per share

Stereotaxis, Inc. announced today that it had priced the public offering of 6,500,000 shares of its common at a price to the public of $4.00 per share. Stereotaxis has granted the underwriters of the offering an option to purchase up to an additional 975,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. All of the shares in the offering are being offered by Stereotaxis. Stereotaxis expects the offering to close on October 15, 2009.

Two UCSD professors of psychiatry honored for schizophrenia research
