FDA grants Arcion's ARC-4558 Fast Track designation for pain involved in Painful Diabetic Neuropathy

Arcion Therapeutics, a venture backed clinical stage biotechnology company developing topical therapies for chronic pain, today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted Fast Track designation to ARC-4558 for the treatment of pain associated with Painful Diabetic Neuropathy (PDN).

TRAP-1 may prevent cancer cell death, current research suggests

Current research suggests that TNF-receptor associated protein-1 (TRAP-1) may prevent cancer cell death. The related report by Leav et al, "Cytoprotective Mitochondrial Chaperone TRAP-1 as a Novel Molecular Target in Localized and Metastatic Prostate Cancer," appears in the January 2010 issue of the American Journal of Pathology.

State licensure is required in each state in which a PT practices.
