Schering-Plough Corporation has announced that the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) has validated (accepted for review) the company's Marketing Authorization Application (MAA) for Sycrest (asenapine) sublingual tablets for the treatment of schizophrenia and manic episodes associated with bipolar I disorder.
