APP Pharmaceuticals receives FDA approval to market Aztreonam for Injection, USP

APP Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fresenius Kabi Pharmaceuticals Holding, Inc., announced today that it has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market Aztreonam for Injection, USP in two dosage strengths. Aztreonam is therapeutically equivalent to the reference-listed drug Azactam, which is marketed by Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Study reveals connection between restless sleep and Parkinson's disease

A study published in the neurological journal, The Lancet Neurology, has identified that patients with rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder (RBD) have a dopamine deficiency in the brain and suffer from a form of brain inflammation.
