There is a significant disparity between knowledge and attitudes on the dangers of skin cancer among male and female medical students in Florida according to a new study by a joint team of researchers from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. The study was published in the American Medical Association's Archives of Dermatology.

Positive results reported from Phase IIa clinical trial of intranasal oxytocin for CDH

Trigemina, Inc., a Mountain View based privately-held biopharmaceutical company, reports positive results from a time-based interim analysis of its Phase IIa clinical trial in Chronic Daily Headache. The trial is a collaborative effort between Trigemina and Dr. Egilius Spierings of MedVadis Research Corporation located outside of Boston. The study compares intranasal oxytocin with placebo in patients suffering from CDH.

Medrobotics announces closing of $26M Series E Preferred Stock financing

Medrobotics Corp., a surgical products company with core competencies in medical robotics, announced today that it had closed its $26 Million Series E Preferred Stock financing. Existing Medrobotics shareholders and undisclosed new investors participated in the Series E raise. Proceeds will be used for regulatory preparations and submissions and for anticipated commercial launches in Europe and the United States.
