Temple University School of Medicine announced today that it is a Grand Challenges Explorations winner, an initiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Urologists now have new options for stone extraction devices when performing percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), as Cook Medical is launching the Perc NGage® and Perc NCompass® nitinol stone extractors today.
