HHS and EPA make new announcements on fluoride based on up to date scientific data

Study: EMS-initiated CPR for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest should be performed for 35 minutes

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest should be conducted for at least 35 minutes, according to research presented at ESC Congress today by Dr Yoshikazu Goto, associate professor and director of the Department of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at Kanazawa University Hospital in Kanazawa, Japan.

Botox effect modest in migraine prevention: Study

Botox injections have been used in prevention of migraines but new research shows that its effect is only modest. Among chronic sufferers who had at least 15 migraines a month, the treatment prevented, on average, about two headaches a month. Botox was no more effective than some of the most widely prescribed drugs used for migraines when the treatments were compared.

States' woes spur Medicaid drop-out talk
