American Academy of Neurology breaks ground for new headquarters, donates 1,000 children's bike helmets

The American Academy of Neurology will provide 1,000 free bike helmets for children who attend one of the many Bike Fests in north Minneapolis this summer, beginning with the first Bike Fest this Saturday, May 21, 2011. CUMC plans to build new home for Columbia University School of Nursing

Columbia University Medical Center announced plans today to build a new home for the Columbia University School of Nursing, one of the oldest nursing schools in the nation. The seven-story building will be located on existing Columbia property at the corner of W. 168th Street and Audubon Avenue, at the east end of the CUMC campus. Construction is expected to begin in late 2014.
