Inspired by pregnancy tests, researchers from Florida Atlantic University, Stanford University, and Baskent University in Turkey, have developed a novel method to store microfluidic devices for CD4 T cell testing in extreme weather conditions for up to six months without refrigeration.

Genetic mutations may put individuals at increased risk for fungal infections

New research has identified two genetic mutations that may put individuals at increased risk for fungal infections. The research focused on patients with severe fungal infections (primarily of the genus Candida), but the findings may also have implications for patients who have more common mild infections.

Study explores views, beliefs about triggers of Meniere's disease symptoms

A report in one of the last issue of Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics addresses the physical and psychological triggers for attacks in Meniere's disease.
