Surgical mesh product agreements have been awarded to: Atrium Medical Corp of Hudson, N.H.; Davol Inc. of Warwick, R.I.; Covidien of Mansfield, Mass.; and Medline Industries Inc. of Mundelein, Ill.
A recent study, available on the bioRxiv* preprint server, investigated the durability of cellular immune memory after mRNA vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 and whether booster jabs affect the durability of different immune response components. The study included testing for antibodies and cellular immune responses in covid patients and recovered individuals.
Patients with metastatic melanoma who undergo surgery to remove lesions that have spread into the abdomen live more than twice as long as those treated with drug therapy alone, according to novel new research by a North Shore-LIJ Health System cancer surgeon.
