Ophthalmologists at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai have created a new technique to evaluate patients with sickle cell retinopathy and assess the disease before it progresses and leads to permanent vision loss.
Cigna welcomed over 100 new customer service employees at a ribbon-cutting opening the company's new health care call center in North Fayette, as service associates at the new call center began taking customer calls. Fifty more customer service personnel will be hired by year-end.
