Last Friday, Florida Hospice & Palliative Care Association's President & CEO, Paul Ledford, received the Florida Society of Association Executives "Executive of the Year for 2015" in front of over 400 of his peers. According to a new study from MIT and the Whitehead Institute, the process of healing of the surgical scar after surgery is the cause for spread of the cancer.
While often used interchangeably, dementia and Alzheimer's disease are not the same. Dementia is a general term for a decline in mental ability severe enough to interfere with daily life.
