Researcher Johan Jakobsson and his colleagues have now published their results in Nature Communications.
Arthritis is a condition that affects 1 in 5 Australians. That means that 1.4m people in NSW alone, have a form of arthritis and try to manage the impact it has on their lives. There are a number of very common and effective ways to tackle the condition such as physical activity and exercise, physical therapy, healthy eating and traditional medicines. All of these methods can play a role in reducing the pain arthritis causes in people's daily lives.
Results from a recent Pharmacy Technician Certification Board sponsored survey find that lead pharmacists perceive pharmacy technician certification as an essential component in reducing medication errors, ensuring patient safety, and increasing positive health outcomes. The results, unveiled at the American Pharmacists Association Annual Meeting in March 2010 by researcher Shane Desselle, R.Ph., PhD, FAPhA, Associate Dean for Tulsa Programs, Chair, and Professor of the Department of Pharmacy: Clinical and Administrative Sciences at University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy, were gathered from a random sample of over 3,250 pharmacists serving in a variety of practice settings across the United States.
RNA interference studies are a powerful technology for high-throughput screening. However, endpoint analyses only provide a snapshot of the analyzed cellular phenotype, as it is not possible to measure developmental changes over time.
