Transmission of COVID-19 from mother to baby during pregnancy is uncommon, and the rate of infection is no greater when the baby is born vaginally, breastfed or allowed contact with the mother, according to a new study.
Oncodesign Biotechnology(R) announced today that it has signed a licensing agreement with Janssen Pharmaceutica NV (hereinafter Janssen) related to Janssen's macrocyclic chemistry technology. Oncodesign will have exclusive access to this technology for six years.
"Two years after the launch of a global effort to mobilize countries in the use of scientific approaches to improve nutrition, the movement seems to be gaining momentum," IRIN reports, noting, "More than 30 countries have signed up with the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement, better known by its acronym SUN."
The New York Times: "In a study that sheds new light on the effects of end-of-life care, doctors have found that patients with terminal lung cancer who began receiving palliative care immediately upon diagnosis not only were happier, more mobile and in less pain as the end neared — but they also lived nearly three months longer.
