ExonHit Therapeutics announced today that promising new data on EHT 0202, its lead candidate in Alzheimer's disease, were presented at the 11th International Geneva/Springfield Symposium on Advances in Alzheimer Therapy from March 24th to March 27th in Geneva, Switzerland.
A program launched earlier this year by UCLA and three other top research universities has formed an educational partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The partnership, between the National Clinician Scholars Program and the VA, will allow the next generation of leaders and change agents to understand and improve the health of veterans, and of the nation.
A review carried out by the University of Hull has shed new light on the relationship between acne and diet. Published in Dermatological Nursing, the comprehensive review assesses the latest evidence and findings about the effects of food and nutrition on acne and suggest that high glycemic index foods such as milk could exacerbate the skin condition.
As a result of mapping the structure of the protein complex implicated in autism spectrum disorders, a research team led by scientists at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has discovered how particular genetic mutations affect this complex and contribute to the developmental abnormalities found in children with autism.
