Aspirin does not provide protection against Lynch syndrome
Aspirin, recommended as a preventive approach for patients at risk of hereditary colorectal cancer, does not provide protection against Lynch syndrome, the most common form of hereditary colorectal cancer, according a study published in the Dec. 11 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine.
Women with cancer have worse health behaviors after mammography
A recent study conducted by researchers at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla., and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., has found that female cancer survivors receiving screening mammography have "worse health behaviors" than women receiving mammography screening and who had never had cancer.
UW and GU agree to enhance medical education and research in Spokane
