A systematic review of nursing handoff literature found that minimal research has been done to identify best practices, despite well-known negative consequences of inadequate nursing handoffs. The article was published in the April issue of the American Journal of Nursing (AJN).

VirtualScopics second-quarter revenues increase 27% to $3.22 million

VirtualScopics, Inc., a leading provider of quantitative imaging for clinical trials, today reported revenues of $3,221,593 for the second quarter of 2010 compared to revenues of $2,541,316 in the second quarter of 2009, a 27% increase.
