Nanyang Technological University is setting up a new institute to advance research in the life sciences, with a focus on ramping up Singapore's efforts in finding cures for human diseases.
Intellikine, Inc., a company focused on the discovery and development of innovative, small molecule drugs targeting the PI3K/mTOR pathway, announced today that it has earned $4 million in milestone payments upon the initiation of two Phase 1 clinical trials of IPI-145.
Eli Lilly and Company announced today it will discontinue development of tabalumab - being studied for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE, commonly known as lupus) - due to insufficient efficacy in two pivotal Phase 3 trials. The decision was not based on safety concerns.
