Politicians could do more to tackle the spread of obesity, a new series of studies suggests.
Ladies across the city are invited to be pampered at a Charity event in Leeds City Centre next week to help raise money for deaf and blind children in Yorkshire.
Frailty is the medical term for becoming weaker or experiencing lower levels of activity/energy. Becoming frail as we age increases our risk for poor health, falls, disability, and other serious concerns. This can be especially true for older people facing surgery, up to half of whom are classified as frail.
A new MedUni Vienna study conducted in the Comprehensive Cancer Centre (CCC) Vienna shows that certain laboratory results, which have previously not been used specifically for this purpose, can help to predict survival in patients with newly diagnosed brain metastases and to decide on the most appropriate treatment strategy.
